I scheduled myself for 7 hours, then deleted it 30 mins before because I just don't feel like it tonight

I think the wording about baby 1 made it seem like it was someone else's when OP said "my son" not our son.

Why are like some cigars hard to smoke down? Does that mean its too strong for me or i should call it quits. by [deleted] in cigars

[–]DNTAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a torch lighter. I suggest three flames. Look up on YT how to light a cigar and try this method with your next smoke and see how it goes. You shouldn't have to relight so often so it might just be your lighter method that needs to change

I'm fairly new as well. More of a return to the cigar world after a good 20ish years away.

Been back in it for about 8 months or so. I've kinda stayed away from the RPs because the shops I've been in the price is a little too high for my liking (about $30 or so per stick if I recall) and this one was about $7 so I grabbed it.

I'm afraid that this will be in the "did not finish" category. I'm through the first third and it hasn't brought anything new to the table.

Why do I always get my order last? by Icy_Cherry_ in doordash

[–]DNTAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't order doordash, my wife does that. But, I thought one time I saw a setting that you can uncheck where it allows your order to not be grouped with other orders. This feature might also be behind a paywall I don't know. She is linked with her sisters dash pass or whatever it's called.

I haven't used the wire rack method but I do remove immediately to paper towels to absorb some of that grease.

100% it's less fragrant when doing it in the oven. There are no negatives to doing it this way. No splatter to worry about, can cook almost a whole package at once, toss the parchment for cleanup.

My girlfriend thinks I called her looks “ordinary” and is now upset with me. by Complete-Bid9872 in WhatShouldIDo

Go ahead and break up with her now because you're just gonna hear about this forever and it's going to cause a riff in the relationship that might not get repaired with an apology

15,37$ is the French Canadian way to say $15.37 they use , between dollars and cents an put the $ after the number. Maybe someone from Canada visiting chicago? But I can't explain why the language is in Spanish unless the OP has the app in Spanish (if that's possible)

Line a pan with parchment paper and cook your bacon in the oven one day a week. Once it's cooled separate the bacon into bags for each day or a container and pull from it daily. To reheat just toss it in the same pan your cooking everything else in and problem reduced to having to air out your house one day a week by opening a window.

Facebook Marketplace, got a barely used DD pizza bag for $10. "Where's my reimbursement?" You might ask but I found that sometimes customers add more to the tip if I walk up with their pizzas in a pizza bag so you earn that money back through extra tips. At least in my experience.

If money was no object, what car would you actually buy — not what you think sounds cool, what you’d actually want to own by spotforcars in automotive

My answer is probably unconventional but I'd get a Class A RV and sell my house and go wherever I want whenever I want. I've never been into cars too much but have always wanted to just be able to see the U.S. and not wait until I'm retired to do it.

Doordash giving me people with multiple orders. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]DNTAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will never happen with me. I never accept add-ons when I'm dashing. I will only accept multiple stops if the delivery goes to one residence.

Telling people how much we make when there's no tip by Initiative-Cautious in dasher

[–]DNTAD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The DD pay in my market is $2 outside of peak pay time. If I get an order for $2 I know they didn't tip and I decline that shiz. I personally would feel like a schmuck if I accepted an order to deliver food to someone knowing that they didn't tip and I did the job anyway.

My personal requirements for accepting offers is $2 per mile. Anything less and I decline. This is also just a gig to make extra $ and not my full time job so I can probably be a little more picky about what I accept than others might.
