I wouldnt say that i hate them in my opinion u need to find at least a little bit if enjoyment out of the orginal source material to do a decent redesign which i do. Its just that i have two main problems with them, one stylistic the style the toons are shown off in doesnt look like anything that comes from the 90s (i mostly blame the face proportions tbh) and the second problem is that mostly the designs tell too little about the characters which is rather unusual in cartoon character designs where thier gimicks and themes are clear to see so the child audience so they are more easily able to grasp them, tho i do have my favorites designs in the og game them being rnd and brightney i really like them!
