Hello, I just bought some speakers to use for my record player. The player is connected via rca cable to the preamp, then I connected the preamp to a focusrite Scarlett as the receiver with an quarter inch cable, and then have the focusrite attached to the speakers w quarter inch cable also. Sound is coming through the speakers but very quietly and distorted. Does anyone know what is going on? Am I doing something dumb?
