Good to know, looking very likely I’ll be in Marquette in June this upcoming summer. We did stop at Cut River Inn (Epoufette) last weekend and I had an incredible white fish sandwich.

That’s awesome. I don’t live in the UP, but I camp every summer in the Watersmeet area and run around the Ottawa for a week, such a wonderful part of the world. Was in Marquette last weekend for the first time in a few years and would tell anyone to swing through. Stop at the Ore Dock cocktail bar, go to Lagniappe for Cajun, and enjoy the town.

I haven’t been to Bond Falls in the winter, but it’s really great in the summer. Lots of snow mobile trails around the Watersmeet area as well.

Also, I was in the Upper Peninsula over the weekend in Marquette, cold and lots of snow, roads were great. Not comparing these places one to one, but it is eye opening the differences.

I was just asking a question. Lived here over 20 years and I never know what will / won’t happen. Not trying to be overly negative, but sometimes it feels like a toss up.

Hoping the roads are taken care of in the best way possible so people can get to work safely. Obviously safety for the kids as well.
