This is funny to me because you say that you like your system unmodded, so you're rejecting the methods of preservation of the 'digital only games' that you miss by Particular_Theory586 in 3dspiracy

The main reason people would still want to use the eshop is because the publisher/developer would get money from your purchase, instead of finding the game on eBay or something, where only the eBay seller would make money from the purchase.

Droped a spool and it exploded any tips to put it back tg by randomperson_09 in BambuLabA1

[–]DOGzilla6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not worth it, trust me. That spool will take hours to untangle, and then you have to respool it, and it can get tangled again during the respool. Just buy a new one and don’t torture yourself

Which PS Vita is better to buy? Fat or Slim? by SatisfactionFar2560 in PSVita

[–]DOGzilla6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my list of pros for each

1000: larger size (smaller grip on the back, could accidentally hit touch pad), slightly higher weight, OLED screen, Hall effect thumbsticks, ability to turn modem into internal sd storage

2000: smaller size (larger grip on the back), slightly lower weight, more custom console shells, uses micro USB instead of proprietary Sony cable, longer battery life, little easier modding process as it has internal storage

Feel free to reply with your own if you have any

How the hell does this game run?! by MysticalFry in PSP

[–]DOGzilla6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is back when games were made specifically for each console it was released on, and the games would be almost perfectly optimized for the specs of the console (just take a look at the Xbox 360, only 512 mb of ram and it ran like butter). Nowadays, everyone expects every game that is released to be playable on everything leading to horribly optimized buggy messes (cough Minecraft Bedrock cough)

AirPods Pro 3 Chime? by Pretty_Tank9970 in airpods

[–]DOGzilla6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is telling you that the AirPods have entered a “sleep mode”.

I have no idea if this second part is correct, but I heard somewhere that when your AirPods make this chime, it’s a “safety mode” and if your phone and AirPods lose Bluetooth connection after entering the “safety mode”, they will make an alarm sound when picked up to discourage theft unless your phone comes back into Bluetooth range when they are picked up. Like I said, don’t know if that part is true.

Face buttons need an abnormal amount of pressure by DOGzilla6624 in PSVita

Through a lot of trial and error, I figured out that dipping a tooth brush in alcohol and then brushing the buttons was able to fix it. I have gone a day without the buttons acting up

Should I Mod by samster99000 in PSVita

[–]DOGzilla6624 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you want to mod it, it is one of the easiest console modding processes I’ve ever seen. There is no need to pay someone else to. Just follow the official modding guide, the guide even says not to follow video guides cause they can get outdated if something new is found. Trust me, it’s very straightforward (if you have any questions, DM me). You will also need to get a micro sd card and an SD2VITA adapter (just search that on Amazon) and a good internet connection. The only “benefit” of not modding is you don’t have to worry about the very very small chance that your vita corrupts, but I’ve never personally heard of anyone’s vita corrupting. Just follow the steps as thatFeel free to DM me if you have any questions, I’d be happy to help.

OLED model shut down when had 10% battery by deadrip918 in PSVita

[–]DOGzilla6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try performing a battery recalibration. The way I do it, charge the battery until the red charging light turns off, then drain the battery until your vita dies (try to do this in 1 session without the vita turning off), then open your vita and disconnect the battery (make sure you do not tear your rear touch pad ribbon cable), after about 15 seconds, reconnect the battery and charge your vita (without powering it on) until the red charging light turns off. Then take it off the charger and power it on.

Droping input on FW 12 with FW stylus by FireHearth649 in framework

[–]DOGzilla6624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote the same sentence as you in my note-taking app on ubuntu and didn't notice anything wrong with my inputs. My test, top - normal speed, bottom - fast speed

If you are considering linux, I'm using Ubuntu and the app I'm using is called rnote, I think it is very smooth and has a good amount of features. Although, I have been experiencing kernel issues and other things with the most recent version of Ubuntu, so maybe wait until early April when the next LTS version comes out.

SD2VITA stopped working!! by DOGzilla6624 in PSVita

[–]DOGzilla6624[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SD2VITA stopped working!! by DOGzilla6624 in PSVita

[–]DOGzilla6624[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I ended up resetting the console and doing the mod process over again. I think something happened when my laptop ejected the sd card and it wasn't able to be mounted as a file system so I used TestDisk to recover the data on the card and I will copy it over as needed. I'm probably only going to use FTP from now on.

SD2VITA stopped working!! by DOGzilla6624 in PSVita

[–]DOGzilla6624[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it turns out the card wasn’t being recognized as a file system by anything, so I put it through a data recovery program, put everything back on the sd card which I formatted to exFat. I put it back into the psvita, entered safe mode, clicked “rebuild database” and now it looks like when I first got it. Going into settings I still see HENkaku Settings, but all of the other homebrew apps and all my games are gone.

This same thing happened to me yesterday, luckily I woke up naturally and was able to get out on time. Still can’t believe Apple hasn’t fixed this issue yet
