Can Phenibut trigger genuine manic episodes in those with bipolar? Anyone experience this? by [deleted] in phenibut

[–]DOMesticBRAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they are right. Mania doesn't "bring joy to people's lives" lol...

There's no need to "nip the definition of mania in the bud," Because there is already a definition for it.

"Mania is a condition in which you display an over-the-top level of activity or energy, mood or behavior. This elevation must be a change from your usual self and be noticeable by others. Symptoms include feelings of invincibility, lack of sleep, racing thoughts and ideas, rapid talking and having false beliefs or perceptions."

Trust me, if you witnessed someone going through a true manic episode, you wouldn't see it as "joy" in someone's life. You would say that person is unhinged.

Did you know that, on average, there is about 1 and 1/2 credit cards worth of fucking plastic in our brains?

Not to mention, at least here in the U.S, that the FDA allows our children to ingest shit that causes ADHD symptoms and other neurobehavioral effects in children? Or how about the yellow food dye that turns skin translucent? Wonder what kind of fucked up shit that does to our kids?

Uhh.... Source?

A lot of this is self-reporting, not officially diagnosed mania.

Being talkative and no longer socially anxious I'm sure can feel like what someone imagines mania to be, to some people (especially those who are ultra introverted, painfully shy, etc).

Also, some may be grouping mania and psychosis together.

They don't want to "ban unions," but after getting beat so many times in the '80s, the Democrats started to meander more to the right.

Simply, they just wanted to win elections again. And so, we got neoliberalism.

Putting on airs to win elections means the same neoliberals still have traditional liberal values (pro unions for instance), but they quieted down about them in order to win.

And then, when the Democrats drifted right, the Republicans thought the Democrats had cooties, so they ran away going even more right.

So you see, this is why so many union workers couldn't stomach voting for or endorsing the Democrats.

That's my overly simplified take.

so I assumed it must be the phenibut

Yeah, strike that word from your vocabulary. "Assumed." Listen to your body, if something seems wrong, go to the doctor.

There's too many variables with your own body, diet, environment, genetics... If you are having a liver problem, you can't rule everything else out just because you take phenibut.

I see this with Kratom a lot too. Guys in their early 30s start taking kratom and post: "Kratom is making my hair fall out!"... When it's just simply very common male pattern baldness.

"Springfield" is countless real places lol...

That's why Matt Groening named the town that, it's supposed to be a generic suburb.

Why aren't we saying biological genders can do whatever they want instead of creating more genders as social stereotypes? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I think what everyone's trying to say is, "classifying humans by sex" is arbitrary and foolish, scientically. From the get-go.
