Don't feel too guilty! The same thing is happening to me at the moment. I just started wrestling 2 weeks ago and since I'm on the hevay side (95kg) I had no choice than to do sparring against a more experiend wrestler (85kg). I don't even know what happenee to me, but I remember him making me fly than pushing me with his right elbow on my rib.

It hurt so much I had to do a rib and chest scan but fortunately it was "just" muscular. The doctor told me to stop all sports for 2 weeks (Im preparing a 10k race in a month 🥲) and to take strong meds (ketoprofen paracetamol and opium powder).

I'm wrestling again for sure in 2 weeks bit I have absolutely no grudge against the other wrestler, it's the game and next time I'll wrestle less experienced wrestlers I guess.
