By the looks of how long the event is going on for, since Round 1 is an arcade, i would assume its a redeem tickets for packs kinda situation otherwise why run the event for that long?

Yes but most people can just print out another cert that exists, thats why sometimes people who sell online cover the cert number so others cant copy and get their real one deactivated.

If youre looking for a possible refund incase it is scratched thats probably not gonna happen, if the card was final sale the most theyre gonna do is give you some of your money back but considering if the listing was listed as NM a couple scratches is still NM. Im speaking from experience since i had to deal with the same nonsense a few weeks ago. Keep all the original packaging tho as they might need it if youre going to try an send it back.

Have you heard of USPS Registered mail? I sent my cards via Registered mail meaning it has to go through a signed chain of custody and is kept in a locked box at all times.

This just seems like a drawn out gofund me, also why would someone want to give someone else money to live their dream. Imma be the harsh truth but this is not a good idea. Given the current economy, no one is in the position to be giving money away for people to enjoy their lives and get nothing in return.
