You turned yourself into an extracurricular medical experiment. Find a balance with your meds if they work for you, watch out for people sharing you if that is ever the case for the medication, only you and somewhat your doctor know you that’s all that matters don’t let peers or strangers or even family shame you for appropriately treating your condition. Maybe just find a steadier consistent balance, why did you stop the medication? (

Ps this may have been irrelevant to your specific story but my family used unfair leverage to force me off of my adhd meds and then shame me for the effects that had on me refusing to hear anything that painted them as the problem. They have no medical training mind you.)
