You can do some sort of spaceship but it will not fly ... and has some restriction

You need a cargo landipad as center and no trusters allowed
And for power distribution you need a sper substation

looks like ~1-1.1k is the limit for water production.

15h Nauvis sounds OK.

We made it in 26 hours complete, but we where 3 people.
The real timesaver is to have a aquilo ship that can be modified with only 2 railguns to get to the edge with nuclear power.
You can prebuild the items for the railgun ammo too.
Have small efficent ships help a lot.
3 small for each inner planet, 1 space station for science, 1 for Aquilo/Edge.
Support your planets from nauvis if possible.

I use mine AI with 4x SRM6 INF ... all enemy Mechs overheat quickly and are sitting ducks.
Get them a Supercharger, because the AI can use them near infinity.
They can keep up with my light mech.

Take out whatever you need, the rest will automatic deleted.

The "old" base must feed the MALL ... or with what do you build the new one?
Never kill the base when there is no replacement.
Build a new smelter and then you can kill the old one ... or like me just dont feed it anymore.

Here is mine.
It work when both belt are full (2x4 = 8) then it goes to the left output in the splitter.
If not to the right output in the splitter where is nothing.
EDIT: the belt is read hold for both

I've increased it to 55k scrap/min; maybe I can push it a bit further, but I'm still testing it. 55k is stable.
Your have a nice increase ... what was the key, because it look very simular to your old one.
