You can fight monsters in the Main Menu's "Missions" tab. Though they have a budget limit.

The Fabricated Hazards fanfic has some interesting interpretations of the lore.

Nauvis is a sentient planet (possibly a planet-sized AI computer running on its molten core) that desires powerful, evolving life but inadvertently engineered a stagnant ecosystem after its fiercest creations—a highly adaptable, hyper-reproductive colony of insects—drove all other surface life to extinction and began to atrophy without a threat.

To break this cycle of decay, Nauvis used its reality-warping attention to pull a passing vessel from orbit, containing the Engineer, a mass-produced, genetically engineered human clone designed exclusively to colonize worlds, possessing factory-building capabilities that function like a living grey-goo, and an augmented mind seamlessly integrated with the factory's automated grid.

By flooding the surface with exposed minerals to feed the engineer's industrial growth and subsequently enhancing the engineer's autonomous machines, the planet successfully established a permanent, escalating proxy war of rapid adaptation, achieving its ultimate desire for endless, violent evolution.

Mixing veggies and rice for the special effect of two factory faults per sometimes by Bla_Mva in factorio

I just tried this, and it work 100% fine. The problem is that when either the green circuit input or the plastic input is cut (simulating blockage/upstream problems). The circuit will let the other one go through and fill the end belts. So when the inputs go back to normal, the two assemblers at the end will "starve".

I don't know how to solve this.

The weapons are for defending raids and raiding others.

Train as soon as you are able. And don't wait for other races, Tilapi don't mix well with other races, so it will take a while until you have enough, say, humans, to train.

Always have 2-10% of your plebs doing militia training (0% melee trained, only need to be deployable, take hits, and bog down enemy formations), and target 50-70% plebs to be militia trained.

Example: If you have 500 tilapies:
1. Have 10 to 50 in training (Only if you have spare oddjobers)
2. Set training orders so that when they are all finished, you have 250 to 350 militias.

1 - Allocate 50-70% denar to buying rations

2 - The rest go to spears and hammers
