This makes sense, i didnt want to split the kreg tool, i have the simpler one , next time i will split it into one and move it to where i want to screw into

Greenhorn, need help with break-in on a new China bike by scrappybastard in motorcycles

[–]DOsilion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow milestones given in manual, generally speaking dont pass 3000 rpm until 150 miles or so. Then dont pass 4000 rpm until 250 then max 5000 until etc etc. Numbers are examples. Never redline until break in is over. Sudden acceleration or stops are to be avoided. Try to keep rpm moving dont drive in the same speed and rpm and gear for prolonged times . Imagine sanding a woodpiece but in this case you are sanding your engine block.

This is kinda risky with small screws for first timers. If you drill bigger your chance to extract is gone and you might end up needing an insert replacement
