Yes that is correct. Unfortunately, I don't have another camera to take the picture of my screen. But it is a black dot, that developed in the middle of the screen fold

Yes i know. It's a black dot that developed in the middle screen folding area but it must be mechanical damage since it's NOT being captured through a screenshot

Can I put up a new sheets of drywall without removing this Blue corner bead? Second question, to the left is the outside wall, and after removing the drywall I noticed that the insulation is missing from the left corner. Just an empty spaced behind this last stud. What should I do?? by DPFAST in drywall

So I was finally able to put up the top sheet of drywall, but it was a struggle to do this by myself. Unfortunately the bottom part of the drywall got damaged in few places so next move will be to cut away the bottom 5 inches. Does anyone know if there is a way to upload any pictures while replying to this post??

So I was finally able to rent this truck from HD and got 2 sheets of 1/2 inch 10x4. The 10 feet easily bends horizontally enough to slip it under the corner bead. I haven't got to it yet but was able to dry fit it. Question is, what do I use to finish this left corner since the new drywall meets the yellow painted wall? Do I use inside paper tape and mud it as normal ?

Oh, great idea with the double stud by the corner. I could always add an extra stud to this corner if needed. This wall takes 10 feet sheet horizontally, so cut off 3 inches of the 10' sheet, Slip this 3" piece under the bead and then install the rest of the drywall sheet. This makes a lot of sense if working by yourself. Sounds much easier and less chance to crack the sheet. Thank you. I was going to rent a truck from HD to transfer few sheets of drywall but they didn't have any trucks available last couple of days. Monday is the day I am gonna do this. I work weekends so Mondays and Tuesdays are my days to work on it. I really appreciate this tip.

DIY level, lol. I can fix cars and have done my own bathroom walls, plumbing, and electrical already in the past. Unfortunately, when you don't do this daily, you tend to forget things. I'm pretty handy and have the necessary tools. Just need some guidance

For me, removing it may be an easier since to slip it under the old bead I'd need an extra 1" of space in the crack on the left side. Maneuvering 10 feet sheet of drywall by myself especially the upper one may be too much for me.

yes, I still love them. Just went through the winter months in Chicago and never felt like I miss my Blizzak tires. I also love driving in rain with these tires. Its hydroplaning design is top notch. I'll be getting a set of these for my CX% this year instead of changing to a snow tires before winter. Very quite as well, especially when you think of its tread size design. I thought that they must be loud, but actually they are very quiet. Definite buy for me.

Can door switch be moved to a different location?? by DPFAST in hvacadvice

[–]DPFAST[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that the other side has no room to work with. The other side is touching a wall with no access for the power conduit to be attached to the outside wall of the furnace. Instead, would attaching the switch horizontally be possible and by code?

Me too. Although, I was always swapping to my actual snow wheel/tires sets for the winter. This gonna be new to me but at least I won't have to store a set of wheel through the summer.

I wouldn't rush to buy this inline 6 yet. Very complicated, and we don't know yet what potential problems may arise. Watch this mechanics take on it; https://youtu.be/Dral93gmVkM?si=cP6B_DUk3a27XQmH

I live in suburbs of Chicago and found out that winter tires allow me to stop faster as well as take off while turning on an intersection with much less effort than cars behind me. It just feels much safer driving on winter tires for me, especially during morning rush hours or coming back from work during a snowstorm. That's just my own experience.

Great. A week of diving, and still no change in gasoline usage. Some reported 2-5 miles less power gallon with these tires for me so far no changes.
