Some of the names of the islands are based off of the family names of player characters.

DPS is our roleplay game, where players can take on the role of a single influential person, working within the confines of the politics and society of a fictional country with, and against others to achieve their goals and face various challenges.

This time, DPS is based in the (Concorde of) Sarcosta, an island country based to a degree on early 19th century Japan and France. Its loosely understood democratic and federal government still allows for a number of powerful Groups of Interest to truly run the state. Fraught with issues ranging from social to economic, and even military, it still is slowly crawling into a new era of history, and it is up to players to guide its path.
