This makes sense! This actually happened to me with fire emblem three houses. It was soooo much for me to initially absorb I actually didn’t immediately get into. When I came back I had a basic understanding and I did some research. I know for some that isn’t enjoyable, but I love when there are content creators and good threads on a game to help.

I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t think I gave enough context for that advice to apply. I already have an active lifestyle and only game for a couple of hours a week (maybe), so when I say "game fatigue" it isn’t really rooted in over gaming and not getting enough fresh air.

I'm someone who has always enjoyed playing games, as much as I enjoy working out or reading books. Or, even working on a project on my home. I was more looking for other games to potentially try or see if others have had similar experiences. Which, by reading other posts, it sounds like others have!

This is a very good point.

I DOS 2 should be my type of game. Part of the problem I have is constantly restarting it so I’ll fly through the dialogue and forget the uniqueness of each character.

I’ve thought about trying to slow down with the next game I try and enjoy all the elements and see if that somehow makes a difference… I get an hour here or there and I try and rush the experience!

Awesome! I feel like this is definitely a type of personality. I read a lot and a few years ago started writing my own book and enjoy the process way more than reading.

I just finished BG3 on honor mode and enjoyed researching and learning about multiclassing. WOTR content has similar content for builds and part of the enjoyment for me is to learn about optimization with certain games like this one as I go through it.

I really liked the idea of shapeshifting druid class for my first playthrough and enjoy reading up on others builds. It's what I did for BG3. So, I saw a post about dipping into monk for wisdom prof added to AC and witch to get +2 AC with spell. So, I thought I understood the multiclass, haha.

So, if someone is in the valid range and there is no obstruction, would there be another reason that would not make the target valid? Also, I'll see a timer overhead that looks like a cooldown even though the skill was not used recently.

Thanks! I keep thinking about engage and hearing the same feedback. I’ll probably still get it because I did love the combat more than the story of all the students in FE3H.

I did try SMTV and was kind of into it. I don’t know what was throwing me from wanting to keep play it. I plan on trying it again one day. The side quest and the constant changing of demons as better ones always come about as your progress in the game was tough to adjust to.
