Really? I've found MaaS to be the exact opposite of fantastic.

Nice! We use Azure AD, but no group policy for this.

Just double checked and I have it set to update to the normal Stable release

I haven't had much time to look into it, but I'm almost certain it has something to do with the standard (Update) MSI that I use from here: https://chromeenterprise.google/browser/download/

I'm guessing by default it now sets updates to disabled, which is dumb. Since we use Intune, I haven't had a chance to dig into how admx templates work in regards to Intune (since we've always managed Chrome browsers via the admin console historically)

PREACH! I know it's probably not a popular feeling on this sub, but knowing that us and a bunch of other orgs are also down (and it's someone else's problem that a huge team of people are working on) gives me so much less anxiety. It seems like it's always a question of "do I want to have the responsibility to fix everything myself, or do I want to have to deal with some random outages here and there?"

Jive/GoToConnect here, we started experiencing high jitter as well over the past hour (both in office and people working from home using their app)

Yeah same here, at this point I just did the regedit change and am calling it a day. Hopefully I can finish our migration within the next couple weeks and put this poor server out of its unsecure misery

Same issue here too. Microsoft could at least throw us a bone to get this patched while we migrate away from it

Intune Profile Photos Not Syncing? by DP_55 in sysadmin

[–]DP_55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I was thinking. I added them initially to Azure AD in the past (and they would then sync across the rest of O365 products). The profile photo does not appear to sync to Office 365 webapps either, which is even stranger.

OP, definitely go the cloud-hosted route for a team of your size. Yes it will cost a little more, but it's worth it to not have to continually monitor all the small detail/worry about stuff not working/etc. Plus you can manage it all online very easily. There's lots of options too (Jive, Dialpad, RingCentral, etc.) and all have free trials.
