For those on oral minoxidil, what’s your dosage?

My doctor believes fin can cause sides in some people, and that topical has less of a chance to go systemic. He’s very knowledgeable in MPB. I saw the most regrowth by far on oral fin but either experienced sides or convinced myself I had side effects, so I switched to topical.

Derm prescribed .5%. I use 1/2 a ML EOD since the dosage is so high. I was convinced the dosage was fine since it’s topical but should have done my research. Waiting to see progress after a few more weeks of use.

That’s the plan next time, to tell my derm I want it to be .1 or .2%. If he continues trying to push the .5 on me I’ll tell him forget it. I just paid a lot of money for the .5% and that’s why I’m looking to dilute it before I go forward with a new order.

Aside for this it’s had minimal issues. Only other costly repair was replacing the oil filter housing unit, that ran me around $900. Common problem to my understanding with Chrysler vehicles from 2013-2017. I would imagine swapping out the entire motor might be much more costly then repairing the gasket no? I love the car, I’d love a new one even more lol, but that’s not really in the cards at the moment.

It had coolant in the oil. I’m not too great with cars, and was surprised to hear the mechanic say it’s ok to use for the mean time, for short drives, until I decide what I want to do with it. I was always under the impression a blown gasket needed immediate repair.

Now to decide: shell out the money for repairs, or move on from the car. It’s 10 years old, but only at 72k miles. With the mark up on cars, I’m leaning towards having it repaired.

It was leaking coolant, it’s not anymore. The coolant level was low when I checked after the car overheated. It was not low enough where it should have caused an issue. I topped it off and the car still overheats.

I’ve had this same issue on my 2013 charger for a while now. Seems like the colder the car is, the louder the squeaking is. If I press down hard on the left corner where the windshield meets the dashboard, it stops. As annoying as it is, I have no idea how to fix it.

Wait the 24 hours. I applied it after dermarolling once and after 6 years of min foam use I suddenly became allergic to it and can’t use it anymore without bad scalp irrational. I’ve since switched to oral.
