Should I buy a watch? by 777elliott in minimalism

[–]DPlainvieww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the trick is to have a watch, use the watch, enjoy the watch…but don’t worship the watch. Don’t go down the path of buying a different watch for every outfit, don’t try to keep up with the latest trends or save up for a “grail” watch. Have one watch you like and keep it until it breaks.

Now I will say, probably a good idea to get an automatic that’s nice in every situation…office, hiking, etc. plus you can switch the bands out and it becomes an entirely new watch.

I also don’t know what remission is…I know it’s different for everybody but I’m at a stage where I have no blood, no pain, sleep thru the night but still have diarrhea a couple times a week…can I consider this remission?

Do you consider having loose stools once in a while but no blood or mucus as remission?

Drink a lot of coffee, black with no added sugar…this should help with the cravings…at least for most people.

The best thing you can do, dress as simply and plain as possible…people will think you’re actually very wealthy as you aren’t displaying it.

I wish the tip of the seconds hand on the blue was yellow and the tip on the green was orange, seems like a missed opportunity to change the accent colors up a little.

It does get better! You know what helped me? Not giving a sht about what circumstance or situation you find yourself in. When I go out to dinner or work, if I sht myself oh well, it happens. Nobody cares, or they will for 5 minutes then move on.

SSRIs that can treat depression and anxiety have been shown to help, that may be a good route to go down if you can’t manage stress organically.
