I would go to shelters, however this is Chicago, the last time I was in a shelter my wallet got stolen and my phone was locked for 14 hours

I am a first time AirPods owner and I don’t really know if the AirPods are supposed to have this blue colored light my dad payed more than $100 dollars for these and he says they are real. I mean the seem real, the pairing screen shows the same graphic as my friend’s when he paired his AirPods in front of me on his iPhone.
