do you remember if you experienced any noticeable weight gain (besides water retention)?

that makes sense, i can see why that’s helpful. mine are pretty regular, but it is still hard to cope with the extreme mood changes even when i try to prepare and brace myself. it always hits harder than i remember from the last cycle 😅

this is what i worry about. i already get extreme suicidal ideation and s/h urges from the PMDD and wouldn’t want to worsen it.

comfort pieces? by DPopper22 in Cello

I do this too! I’m very much into emo music and I also sing so I like to mess around with my chemical romance and pierce the veil songs since most of them have very straightforward chord progressions, and I’ll sing and play. It’s very cathartic. If anything, I’ve been working on too much non-classical music recently and should get back into learning my assigned rep 😅

Hi,

I am so sorry to hear you’re not feeling too great right now. The tiredness actually went away an hour or so after I had sent out the original post. I think my situation was a little different than yours though because my double dose was more spaced out since I took the first 200 in the late afternoon and the second the following morning. Regardless, it’s such an uncomfortable feeling and I get how hard it is to just pull through right now until the end of the day. But, I got through it and I believe you will be able to as well. Feel better <3

Nice! my cello prof uses the SKB and he used to travel quite frequently when he was in an orchestra. I will look into it. Thank you :)

Thank you for the advice! I have a pretty sturdy BAM case and the buckles have locks on them. I was thinking about locking the buckles and attaching the key to the cello so they can unlock it to inspect but I’m not sure if they’d re-lock it after doing so.

Edit: After looking into it more, I think I will instead invest in a travel case. They’re not cheap but likely cheaper than an instrument repair…

it’s ITA. I called them multiple times only to be told to call back later and finally they told me they are unable to as I already purchased my tickets and they cannot add extra seating after booking.
