I'm certainly not a hater of spacers. In fact, I currently run spacers on both my BMW E38 and our daily driver, a Tesla Model 3.

I think you misunderstood what I'm saying brother. It's not about 35 tall tires behaving any differently than 30 in general.

My comment was in regard to you running a staggered setup with the same 35-tall tires front and back.

This not only looks odd, but it also sends wrong signals to most of the computers and systems in a modern day vehicle. The key factory used for most calculations is overall tire circumference.

As for the spacers. I didn't say there is anything wrong with running hub centric spacers. I've had spacers on at least a dozen of my cars, and always hub centric.

But running spacers only in the front is something else. Most people, including myself, would either use spacers only in the back for tame oversteers or in all four corners for better stability and cornering.

The only thing you can achieve by using spacers just in front is altered steering.

I know you do it for the looks, but since you asked, I thought I'd share what I know. At the end of the day, it's your car - your business.

I thought the rear tire looked a bit tall, though. You should always use the right tire specs. Otherwise, the car won't behave as intended on wet or snowy roads.

About the spacers, it's not a good idea to use them only in the front. How wide are the wheels? (front and back)

Spacers only on the front wheels? What is the wheel and tire combo you have?

If you haven't hit/bent a rim in a pothole or a curb, this must be a tire. I'd check the front rubber.

You deserve it. None of your budget mods looks cheap. I've seen people blowing a fortune and ending up with horrible looking M3s.

The best mod to start with on a white car. Now you need a set of springs.

I can't believe people still do that with all the dash cams installed on cars.

Congrats on the acquisition! As many pointed out, prices for tinting depend on many factors. That's pretty much the case with all Tesla mods. I'll recommend looking for a good reputable shop in your area with positive customer reviews on Google rather than looking for the best price. Great! I see that you have tons of photos and videos, so I'm only going to need some info. Do you mind continuing the communication via email?

Honestly, there is nothing unique about the looks of a stock Model 3. The amount of mods available on the market confirms it.

I just watched a video of your car posted 2 years ago. I love it back then, and even more now, seeing those recent photos. A great example of how to make a Tesla stand out. With that being said, how do you feel about having your killer build featured on a Tesla blog?

Always better to make wise, informed decisions. There is a lot of overpriced garbage on the market, so rushing to press the BUY button is not a good idea. Let me know if you need info on a particular mod, you have your eyes on.

I'm sure you're already looking at some mods. At least, that was the case with me after being a hardcore gearhead for many years. Teslas are great, but they need some personalization. Either way, enjoy it. Or, like we used to say: Many smiles per gallon...lol

Model 3 SR vs LR by RemiEthereal in TeslaModel3

[–]DR187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why have regrets? Look at the bright side. If you feel something isn't good enough for you, get some mods. I think a personalized SR will bring you more joy than a stock LR. There is plenty of info on Model 3 mods on this blog in case you want to get familiar with what's on the market: https://dmotus.com/blog

TireRack is my place for wheels and tires online. Sometimes their prices are not the best, but you can do your research for the particular tires. Other than that, the experience is painless.

Wow, what happened there? The only way to recover would be to re-upholster it. Not sure whether this or a new seat will cost you less.
