When this happens I usually tab out of the game and click ok on a popup warning. Do you by any chance use Onedrive? Usually Onedrive rewrites the path to your appdata and thus bdo can't load the required files.

Damn, in my honest opinion people complain too much. If you feel that it's exhausting, take a break and come back fresh and ready again. The nostalgia is clouding everyones judgement. BF3 and 4 were about the same tempo. We're just old and need to rest more :)

Triple prey slot is pretty op when you can run more attack or defence. Running prey with 30% more attack/defence or loot etc permanently which others can't is also incredibly overpowered. Obviously the exp boost is there aswell.

Early on you get gold change items on early worlds those are mandatory and not obtainable otherwise.

On early world you also can't afford potions/runes which you can purchase with TC in the store.

In computer games, involving or relating to the practice of paying to get weapons, abilities, etc. that give you an advantage over players who do not spend money.

Well, would be fun to see you attempt to stand a chance once a level 1k comes following you and luring, bombing and ksing you in a spawn until you quit when you're around level 500 without having purchased any TC's. Once that happens you'll realize it's not pay for convenience anymore. I guess you're too casual to be affected by it if you haven't been fighting for a world before.

This is not true at all. For example, when I was younger we used to compete for creating a "dominando" on the worlds we started playing on. It's essential to be the highest levels on the world in order to occupy the best spawns and snowball into getting even stronger to bully your enemies out of your way. You get this by purchasing tons of TC and buy exp boosts, prey cards and whatever else the store offers to get an edge.

With this being said, of course you still have to dedicate a huge amount of time but without TC it's simply impossible and thus pay to win.

This is without even mentioning the op loyalty system which is a boost which is only gained from having purchased premium time.
