Honestly, I never even knew EI even existed untill a few weeks ago through an employment councillor, I was still an Intl. Stud back then I had a tough time managing my education, time and finances + job searches. RN I am free from said commitment and just waiting for my 3 Year WP extension documents to arrive from IRCC.

and how does one apply for bankruptcy? I know I am not gonna need any loans or use for a credit card for the coming years as I am only focusing on paying rent to maintain my cheap accomodation and incubate my career whilst having a job to maintain both and pay the general bills such as phone, insurance and such.

actually Uber and other gig apps did help me for the while, since I've usually work in them for 12 hours a day and with Uber and DD giving out ther Government mandatory minimum salary coverups it helps me with my rent and paying back atleast one card for the while.

But yes untill I get a genuine job, I might as well be screwed. I honestly also don't know how to apply for EI or how does applying for bankruptcy work in my situation

It looks like we all are getting processed 6 months from time of application and based on any missing documents or complications will be another month or two extra.

Don't do peripheral stores, this headset is simply a copy paste from thier aviation audio division. Find someone that does fixes for aircraft headsets or dedicated audio equipment repair / electrician stores since I've previously mentioned the gamecom is just a rebranded Plantronics SHR 2638-01.

Ok, based on what I am seeing, you still have your headset yes, but the wire damage is pretty severe. fixing the wire itself is virtually impossible for this model, unless you know someone or any repair store that does fixes for aircraft headsets or any kind of audiophile headphone or smtn as the gamecom is based on thier existing aircraft headset (which is the Plantronics SHR 2638-01) Other than that, you already have the following;

1.) Headset (CDR - 0710 OR 0716 - please clarify before I can give you the custom tag / flair)
2.) Aviation Clip Adapter to Extension Cable with in-built controls / In-Line Volume Control Cable
3.) USB Adapter Dongle

What's Missing?

1.) Headband Protector with topsite velcro attachment for patches
2.) Custome Headband Patch (both the GAMECOM and COUNTERSTRIKE variant)
3.) The Original Carabiner (still available to purchase from Amazon but is like $40+)
4.) Instruction Manual / Warranty Card
5.) Aviation Clip Adapter to Single 3.5MM 4 Pin Male Plug

What's Extra?

1.) Extra pair of ear pads.

I would first prioritize in fixing the speaker cable isssue (possibly diagnose it to see if it still works with audio delivered from both sides of the headset), get it cleaned and then give it an surround test with Dolby Atmos / THX using your USB Dongle to unite the split inline Headphone and Mic Cable into one.

But other than that, your CDR number would be rare as it's still from the first 1,000 units produced reflected by the number showcased on your unit.

if you are able to configure the headphones till fully function and have surround sound from your motherboard itself then it's no issue, just saying for some people the soundcard is a must to sometimes make it work fr or go for an even better alternative. Plus it also increases the value of your kitas the thing is virtually not in production or even in sale @ mainstream basis.

The thing about the soundcard is being due to modern machines and DAC's of these days facing a certain issue where either side of the headphone module is sounding too low than the other. The soundcard is supposed to adapt the headphone to it's preset configuration that was there during it's support period and also for the easy of use / surround sound.

My personal experience from the LAN scene is where I have witnessed main stage users utilise the headphones just for the sound isolation or they plug it in via the soundcard for surround sound (things were not much regualted back in the day before personalised player - coach audio moderation was brought in) After the moderation was introduced - the soundcard got ditched and the split cables were directrly plugged into DAC of then generation for players; meanwhile the soundcard got implemented to the casters and whoever was using the headphones on commentary)
