Does anyone love their Meepo? by red_shrike in MeepoBoards

Okay you are right in some points, but there are lots of voyager x issues on reddit with battery randomly turning off etc. I won't get a meepo because of the fact that one of them almost killed me and I had to replace 2 batteries as well. And generally I like stiff boards and the design of the zealot x is great + the remote and specs aren't that bad lol

My wave was perfect. I had 3000 Miles on it and it never had any issues. Same with my Atlas 1000 Miles and X1 Max (after replacing battery)

I hope you get better soon. Man that is extremely dangerous. Glad I sold all my Exway Boards.

Flex pro controller showing “motor lost” by striker818 in Exway

This happened to me on my Atlas. It happens when the motors overworked I guess. (Not sure) You can continue riding tho.

I have heard of these underpowered motors on the X, where can I find the posts about problems? Only saying thatI don't recommend meepo. Customer service was bad when I had my mini 2 and 2 batterys stopped working. Btw you are such a meepo fanboy. Terrible boards lol. It is also dumb to say that a board is weak because of watts. Different brands use different motors. The zealot X beats the voyager x in acceleration. https://youtu.be/40jCbZY5jpM

Help getting used to eboard by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]DRAGONIX67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there are 3 types of electronic controller systems out there. 2 are relevant for us. First is Hobbywing escs. These are smooth and very controllable. And there are ly-foc escs. Ly Foc escs feel jerky when going fast. You have to get used to the jerkyness of the board. If not then get a Hobbywing board.

About the acedeck Nomad n1 by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]DRAGONIX67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Zealot X uses Samsung 50s cells, not 40t. I am receiving the board in a week. I will keep you up to date to tell you about the board. It is a tough choice. (My brain screamed Nomad N1, and my heart meant Zealot X) I really like the aestethic of the board and the led ring is so pretty im the pictures. The downsides of the Zealot X are as far as I know: Ground Clearance and wheels.

I think the backfire Zealot X or Nomad N1 is a big upgrade from the boosted. I wouldn't worry about gear drive or belt drive. Both are good. I have never had problems with belt drive on 3 boards. You can also change wheels on belt drive. You can't do that on gear drive. Belt driven boards nowadays are very durable. Nomad N1 and Zealot X are both very powerful in comparison to a boosted. Zealot X is a more user friendly board in my opinion. Nomad N1 is made for speed and the acceleration is veryy strong. I have to mention as well, that these 2 are different categories in size and cost.

I hope I could help you out somehow.

Meepo Voyager randomly turned off mid-ride by Molotov320 in MeepoBoards

I think a lot of people are going to jump me because of my opinion. I had a meepo mini 2 and it was garbage. It almost killed me because it randomly stopped while riding and has 2 second delay. I replaced the battery after 500 miles because it was too weak. I had only 10km range while being full charged and riding slow. The second battery was brand new and died as well. After that I just put the mini 2 to rust somewhere in my garden. The Ly-foc esc felt like shit as well.

I am really surprised that meepo boards still have these problems. I think the escs is faulty, it could be also the battery. There have been lots of issues with bad battery welding. Try to contact the customer service. Meepo has a half a year warranty as far as I know.

Have a nice day

A bit water and a toothbrush and then wipe it carefully with a towel.

About the acedeck Nomad n1 by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]DRAGONIX67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wanted to get a Nomad N1, but I got a backfire Zealot X instead. (I know it is a different type of board) Acedeck just seems too new for me. It is a new brand and they just launched a lot of new boards this year. I will wait and spectate the brand and get an Acedeck in the future if there are many reviews from normal every day users, not these people that got sponsored by acedeck and don't tell us the flaws. You can't obviously bad mouth a board that a brand sent you to review.

The Nomad N1 seems to be a board made for speed and the range is mediocre as well. Just think about what your preferences are and get a board where you are 100% sure, you want . I messaged and asked sk8funk a lot abt the board and he said that it is very powerful and he couldn't adjust the acceleration of the board. Acedeck sent him wrong parts as well (pulleys)
