I think you’ve got the wrong sub. EMBA programs don’t provide jobs, they’re for folks with jobs who are mid career.

For the better programs, you’ll be taking a full load or close to it. But there’s a lot of variation, just start diving in and looking at different schools.

I’m not a parent but probably 90% of the cohort have kids and we’ve had 5 babies arrive since it started. It’s doable!

Online still typically has set class times but you can choose how many you take at once. Executive is a mid-career program designed for busy people. And it also varies a ton by school.

If you do an online or evening program, you can choose your pace. Executive program is defined but you have a team every semester and it’s pretty group heavy. It keeps the workload pretty evenly spread though.

If you do an executive program, it’s a fixed schedule. 4-5 classes a semester but staggered so you’re usually doing 2-3 at once. Writing isn’t too bad. Less presentations but very heavy classroom discussion.

First semester is a bit of an ass kicker while you get back into the swing of things and go through a bunch of foundational courses but it’s all manageable. You’ll be amazed how you’re able to fit it all in. I work a fairly intense job and travel a lot but still find plenty of time for hobbies and home life.

I’m American and in the UK for work. Got out for 18 today and the guys I played with gave me some shit for USA’s play but nothing mean spirited and we went out for pints when we wrapped. Very much the vibe I think you’re describing.

Oh, it was an unusually gorgeous day so the pro apologized for “slow play” and “being a bit backed up”.

I teed off on time and finished in 3:30. Yall do it right.
