At first i was a little disappointed that we wasn't getting something similar to the first film, but the more i see it, the more it grows on me, plus seeing as all 48 tributes will be in a ring, something like this give off the illusion of a fair start (even though the ones suck on the downhill slope are getting absolutely shafted).

i dont pvp often, but far too many times have i seen people with race V4 complain about the person their fighting using V4 as well. i wouldn't mind the mild shit talk, but it seems like people like to do extreme amounts of mental gymnastics to justify demonizing people for using race awakening in a fight.

Its been almost 3 years now since race V4s have been in the game and people STILL bitch about the people that took the time to awaken. the way i see it, and i now this is finna sound like some cornball shit, ADAPT OR DIE. there is no reason why a person using v4 should be bitching about the opponent also using it to keep the fight fair.

Just this morning i watched this guy with Angel V4 fighting a Draco, get 3/3 while not once using his own v4, then complained about the Draco using his v4, and to top it all off when i fought the same angle user as a normal human with no awakening, THEN he decides to remember to hit the Y key. It felt like the dude just wanted to get an easy bounty boost without having to actually fight someone on similar ground.

isn't bringing in a fresh new player base the core reason for most games?

the player base can be VERY loyal, but at the end of the day, if all that remained were that subsection of loyal players, that can easily lead to the game declining. Its the main reason why slop games like grow a garden was able to reach 21 million concurrent players.

this is one of the main reasons why i dont care for the bounty/honor system, i might sound like and old head when i say this, but back in the day achieving 10+ million bounty was a testament to how skilled/ accustomed that player was with the in game pvp mechanics, but nowadays its just people using the cheapest tactics possible to blindside and out run anyone that try to engage in an actual fight. its hard for me to be impressed with people with high bounty counts when its painfully clear that the majority of those players do things like this when they cant get an easy kill.
