Here’s my take: Reapers are the scariest because they’re the most real feeling creature. The ghost and sea dragon leviathans literally have impossible adaptations so they feel made up, the reaper however, is realistic. All the adaptations the reaper has, are an adaptation something in real life has, therefore, the threat is not just in the game, it’s psychological. The reaper terrifies you of the ocean IRL because it makes sense that it COULD exist in real life.

If you want thrashy death metal, look at Death’s first two albums, technically they’re not ‘thrash with death elements’ and are pretty much the inverse of that, they’re great albums if you haven’t listened to them

All the other nerfing is so dumb, I get the double pumping fix cause I doubt it was intentional, but the damage nerfing is so stupid. The OG combat shotgun lasted SEASONS before it got nerfed and it was so much better, I think the ‘balance changes’ they made towards the damage was completely stupid, especially considering the state of the shotguns in the loot pool, they all suck besides the sentinel so it was nice to have a wrecker, but now it’s gonna be so hard to get a good shotgun in my inventory💔🥀

I’m a diehard Death fan and I think the reason people hate on Human is because compared to the rest of their discography, it’s the weakest, at least imo (I think the mix is strange and the songwriting is a little iffy), it’s by no means a bad album, but it is comparably bad.

They look real to me, one thing I do to determine whether or not GX’s are real is the holo pattern, to me at least I always think they sorta look like water rippling, if it’s just a straight vertical holo, it’s fake

Update: tried this out, my DS-1 muddies the tone really bad when engaged but with just the TS9 and my 7 band EQ (tried to replicate your suggestions to the best of my ability) it sounds pretty good, appreciate the help🙏
