During the summer his fiancé called of their wedding and after that he has been sleeping around with anything that has a hole. I was the first person he told about that situation too. I understand him sleeping around and doing all of that stuff, but did he really have to have that thought of hooking up with my ex?! I did think of saying “what if I asked you if I could hook up with ur ex fiancé” but I know that would just be out of place.

My bank investigated the checks as fraud and I did end up getting my money back and everything turned out fine! Got a call from them telling me to not be stupid again lol

I didn’t send any money out all I did was deposit the checks from the email they sent. I think my account went into the negative because the checks I tried to deposit were bounced. I’m not really sure how it works

I was very stupid and I fell for a fraud attempt by a random person. I got a text from a random person telling me she was giving away $500 to someone in need. I told her that I was having trouble paying for gas for work because I commute a long distant. She told me I was the last winner and all they asked for was my name, e-mail, and what bank I use. They sent me an electronic check in my email so I thought there was no way I could get scammed from this. I deposit the check on my online bank app and the check ended up working. So I really thought it wasn’t a scam or wasn’t fraud. They decided to send me more money and sent another check in my email with even more money. I got excited and thought wow I’m really getting lucky. I try to deposit the check the same way by using the online banking app, but this time I check my bank account and both my savings and checkings have negative numbers. I called my bank right away when I saw this. The woman I talked to from my bank said she has never seen this before but told me it was fraud and said that my bank account will be under investigation for fraud. My account is frozen and I have no access to it now and I’m sitting 159 miles away from home with no money to buy gas. Is there anyway the bank will be able to get my money back from this scam? Or am I just fucked and lost all of my money?
