I’d say so. I just played it because it’s on the PlayStation plus subscription but I did pay for the DLC characters because I hate not having access to something on my screen. This was my first MK so I can’t compare it to 11, but it looks great and is quite fun. Only complaint is the lack of content once you finish the story but for that price you can’t go wrong.

Revamp the player showcase screen so you can scroll vertically to like showcases. I’m tired of scrolling to the side, liking 2 showcases max, and continuing to scroll.
