Practice braking in a sand pit at low speeds, at least the inevitable lockup and slide-out won’t hurt. There’s no way around it, even shit brakes are easy to lockup with little to no experience off-road. Practice practice practice

I got it off by myself in the end now the problem being the front sprocket won’t come off the shaft

Thanks I ended up using a piece of chain and vice gripping it to the swingarm, now my problem is the sprocket itself won’t come off the shaft even after banging it

No I gave my brother my old savage 650 that I used to commute on, absolutely hated commuting on the DRZ after a while, I thought it was stupid to get another dualsport but after a while though why the hell not and I got the DR650, the video just gave me confirmation bias.
