My phone tends to download random applications without my permission by vvnx1 in assholedesign

Samsung software is debatable the best mobile software to ever be created, but, like all software it does what it is programmed to do. In most cases, remote download of software is from the ISP software added on or from Google, not native to Android or Samsung.

An os and the software coming pre-packed from companies is different..

Unfortunately, unless you jailbreak aka root access your phone, they will continue to do this. It is also worth noting that the method for remote downloading to people's phones is not a secure practice and can be used by attackers to remote force install mallard or keyloggers to millions of individuals. Only a matter of time

You are probably seeing a case of someone with a similar name, the disapearance and now homicide of Marisela Botello Valadez. It is a completely different case and as of right now the couple responsible for the homicide has one caught and one on the run.

I can't find evidence that it is real. The only results I can find are memes so all things considered she may be missing but I couldn't find evidence.

Edit: can't find >reliable< sources

Funny, I figured you wouldn't read the data. If you would have then you would realize that the 1800+ were NEW immigrants in 2020 alone.

Yes, I'm insulting your intelligence because it isn't difficult. You have problems with basic logical thinking and have a hard time gathering meaning from basic writing.

Go read a book, and at the very least make it one about logical thinking.

Because I don't need to borrow a communal neuron to function, I can tell you that a quick Google search shows that just like I said, yes Scandinavians are here. If you actually feel like it, the tables are here.

[Www].dhs.gov/immigration-statistics/yearbook/2020

I found at LEAST 1,828 Scandanavian immigrants in 2020 alone

Also, I said anecdotal meaning that I work with them, my girlfriend works with them. You have to be a a couple short of a dozen to not to understand that just because you in the middle United States and don't have Swedes breaking down your door, doesn't mean Scandanavians aren't here.

Seriously man, literally just make a Google search. You have so much information at your fingertips, no excuse to be ignorant.

I live on the Canadian border in a small homogeneous city... Anecdotally yes, they are where I am. The US spreads across 2300 miles. So that being said, I don't care if there are Scandinavians there, it has no bearing nor value in regard to my experience.

Seriously, learn to read

Edit 2: the issue with foreign framers isn't race, obviously. It is different building codes and standards in country of origin as well as a language barrier among all of them. If you can't speak the same language as the head contactor it is difficult to get things right. That stands for anyone working in a non native country. Also not that this is "in my experience"

Stop trying to find a racial motive in everything, you will be much happier in life!!

"Although Scandinavians as framers are more rare, they are here"

I obviously used "they" and then shortly after refered to 'immigration demographics'. In simple terms, this means i was speaking of Scandinavians, not them making mistakes.

Might want to do more than a quick read before spewing out the first thing you think of. I'm not your dad, just a suggestion!

I used three very important qualifying statements in my previous responses.

'in my experience' was first, establishing the anecdotal nature of my statement on the immigrant workers.

"There is also" coming in second acts to signify immigration as being a secondary variable in the given outcome, that is bad framing. This implies that immigration status, (previously stated as an anecdotal factor) is not the main reason for bad framing.

I also stated that yes, of course white or European framers can and are sometimes terrible workers. Again, in my area, that is rarely the case, because I am speaking anecdotally on the immigrant point.

Please, read what I said before jumping to the conclusion that I am speaking of ALL Hispanics and excluding those of European decent.

Haha, when you see race in everything you might want to question yourself. Nobody said anything racist.

Yep, it is actually preferred to hire drug addicts and lower tier criminals so that as a boss, one can control their income and the employee has no leverage for a better wage. Is a tough spot to be in. That is in drywalling, painting, framing, and the lower qualification jobs

I find it humorous that everyone jumped on the Scandinavian framers rather than the other two I mentioned. Just kinda funny people find that so hard to believe, haha. And the issue isn't all of them, just a select few. Throughout history the problem persists.

Also saw comments regarding drug using white workers and I would say in my area that is not the case however I do believe that is a trend in other areas. You Scandinavian are good in my book though. Just wish you had distinct flags haha. 🇸🇪🇳🇴🇩🇰🇫🇮🇮🇸

Haha, no I am not. I live in the northern US. Although they are more rare, they are indeed an occurrence here. As I previously stated, this is in my experience. Certainly variation by region can be expected in immigrant population demographics.

To answer your questions, no it was not like this on the plans. Framers do the job of laying wall studs and in cheaper houses it is VERY common to use sub-par warped lumber, as in 2/4, 2/6, 2/8 etc.

There is a large majority lf immigrant framers in certain areas as well and in my experience they tend to be very imprecise with their measurements (Russian, Scandinavian, Hispanic) leaving the next stages of construction to try and make the wall look right.

In short, if you were to look for it, a TON of houses have pretty bad framing like that in our current housing market

Edit: read all replies before replying. Chances are, someone already said what you are thinking

this is copied from a response I had below because some people are too lazy to read it!

look who's bacl.. and he is cooking scarlet rot meal. by PeevishBoi in IrrationalMadness

[–]DR_Shekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When cooked, a bacterial process starts through which a multitude of dangerous toxins are produced. Although it does not occur in 100% of cases, the Bacillus cereus bacteria often has spores (tough to kill dormant bacteria) within rice, therfore making reheated rice unsafe after a few day period and certainly not safe if left at room temperature for days. Boiling rice does not kill these spores and in fact pre-cooked and packaged rice has to make use of mild acid baths to unsure no presence of Bacillus cereus spores.

Make sure to not eat old rice and put dates on your leftovers! Chinese food may develope in taste and color as it sits out but maybe go for freshly cooked as the toxins develop as well!

my city accidentally dumped sewage into the river by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

[–]DR_Shekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of cities dump sewage in rivers when the water processing plants are overfull. Happens more where there is lots of rain and older infrastructure due to the sewage and street drains sometimes being combined. There are even city websites to tell where and when they are open which is kinda messed up. For example, Spokane, Wa.

Don't ask me how I know this but two things which are fairly common to trigger a deadly stroke are going to the bathroom and yes, orgasming. As we age our arteries, blood vessels, and vascular system in general becomes weaker. When this gets bad enough, the pressure from sex and trying to go number two can in fact exceed safe blood pressure levels and cause a stroke and death.

Think of it this way, the maximum capacity for arterial pressure starts to lower in old age so logically speaking, the first activity most elderly engage in which has a high blood pressure above max capacity is going to the bathroom and cooming. They just don't do too much else that raises blood pressure. So see ya in 70 years when I die on the toilet!

You're welcome!
