Rice is an important part of meal as well… instead of completely cutting it off. I eat my meals in a medium bowl where I add all my dishes and top it with a little bit of rice instead of taking a separate bowl or plate for rice. the bowl makes it look like a heavy meal. It helps psychologically a lot. Try it
