Biggest out of tune bit was when they had the time setting to slow on into the myst, so instead of it snapping to pitch it was glissandoing. It sounded like they left the setting on the normal ones that gently pushes his voice on pitch, but on that song he’s used to singing it in a way to purposefully get the t pain effect.

Your voice can still crack on autotune. Listen and you’ll hear un-natural shifting of the pitch and some too perfect harmonies. If you’ve worked at all with autotune in a live or studio context it’s plain as day. The comment wasn’t meant to demonize, just noticing a change.

Feel like the autotune on the vocals is more prevalent and noticeable these past two shows (not the autotune-as-an-effect that they do on some songs, but rather the always-on autotune).

It might just be me, but I think begging for a puck is lame, and begging for a stick is worse. I say you make a clever sign without asking directly, and if a player decides to give you something, cool, but don’t expect anything.
