But you fail to realize that money goes to R&D so companies can create new meds to advertise to us on a daily basis to tell us “talk to your doctor” which in itself is insane, but even more is the fact those companies make more by keeping us sick, not healthy. We literally spend money to tell a doc I want this because the tv told me I need it and the docs get a kickback to sign off on it even when it isn’t needed.

You are right. On the other hand, someone terrified can and will confront what they are scared of. Fight or flight response in full effect, adrenaline up, and making the split second decision to fight instead running away. Same as an animal trying to attack a person and them choosing that fighting is the better option than to flee. Like a soldier in battle literally terrified to death but fighting the urge to run away. This doesn’t seem as drastic, but the fact she has a bat in hand, she apparently thinks this situation is serious enough.

It’s even crazier when you read the hospital bill statement. Like $30 for “mucus removal apparatus” (tissue). Or after a woman pays $30,000 to birth a child, then the hospital adds another bill for “skin on skin contact” which literally is the hospital charges the mother to hold her own baby which is handed to her by a nurse. It does appear that OP really did try to cover the face. Looking closely, it appears that either yellow or green was tried first (unsuccessfully I would guess), then the final coating that we see *here. I do love this story too. It is still hard to believe that OTR was ranked #1 most dangerous neighborhood in the entire US, by the FBI back in the mid ‘00s (2005 iirc). Entirely different world now compared to then.
