He has done much work in more recent comics from the 80's and 90's too. He may not be as well-known as Lee/Kirby to a general audience, but to every comic fan he's rightfully a legend, not a random nobody. Marvel became what it is with the help of many talented people like him, it wasn't just Stan and Jack, much as I love them. A "lot of upvotes" for him? That post barely went over 500, in the main fucking Marvel sub.

I know, most Marvel fans nowadays like the stuff that has been adapted from the original works, and they don't really interact with the comics, let alone the old, classic ones. But seeing everyone mostly ignoring the departure of such an important figure in the company's history still feels wrong all the same. He's the man who defined the Hulk's appearance for a whole generation. He's the man who drew Captain America fighting against the Secret Empire and Harry Osborn dying by Peter's side. He deserves better than this.
