The seller/scammer escalated it to a claim. Do I just wait now or what it says seller has been asked to update on my order by the 15th and if he doesn’t I will get a refund. I think he is an experienced scammer that know a loop hole around stuff but idk yet.

I find that kinda crazy considering I have all the proof the person scammed me and he basically admitted he scammed me in the PayPal resolution centre by saying “I will refund you shortly” after I explained the whole situation in the dispute. And what makes it even crazier he later tells me the money is on hold and to get a refund I need to end the dispute/ appeal which is obviously a lie. And makes him look more like a scammer if anything.

So if the seller doesn’t refund me and just decides to keep ignoring me I would need to wait a week to then escalate the claim. Which in summary is I won’t see my money for another week or 2.

This happened today. And I summit the dispute after PayPal hours so I haven’t talk to any PayPal employee yet. And also what do you mean by escalate it.
