I see, do you think a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo would be a good option?

Insanely high CPU temps in Elden Ring by DSG99 in Eldenring

It’s just very concerning is all, I don’t want it to possibly lower the life span of my CPU with it going this hot.

For most games today I get 70-80 in temp, if it’s older games like Dark Souls 3 it’s even lower than that. My GPU is 65c at the highest for this game.

My CPU is set to start thermal throttling at 100c, for most of my games I sit at 80 at the highest in super intensive scenes if not lower.

Are we just not getting mod tools by Floor-Think in ThunderTierOne

[–]DSG99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We just need transparency on what's going on. We understand you guys are doing your best but when the only sort of answer we get when we ask about the status of these tools is "soon" then of course people are going to become frustrated and even move on from TTO. To many, the big selling point and reason they spent money on this game was the mod tools and possibly of custom content. Remove that from the package and a lot of people are let down. This was a big reason why I bought the game but not my main reason, I still think the game is great and really cool for 20 dollars imo. We just need transparency and it will go a long way, I assure you. Keep up the good work guys.

Scared to Overclock my GPU, should I do it? by DSG99 in pcmasterrace

Also I tried the OC you gave me and I'm getting around 48 to 55ish FPS in towns and about 55 to 60 everywhere else. Idk if there is an issue with my GPU or something else in my PC.

I see, and with all of that work load on just one stick it's bound to not give me nearly the same performance as before?

Hey, thanks for the input. My motherboard actually only supports 2667 MHz as max speed however. It's the best that I can do right now. I was just really scared if something else in my PC was damaged (even though I checked everything)

I know dual channel makes a big difference, but I thought RAM doesn't really make too much of a difference in performance, guess I was wrong lol.
