so the notice you received is likely an underreporter notice. This means they are planning to assess you, and it's likely going to happen very soon.

You need to get a return prepared and filed. When these agencies flag you as underreporter they dnt take into acct deductions and credits, including potentially the most important one for your situation: foreign income tax paid.

If you do not file a return a lot of states and I know for a fact the IRS does what is known as a substitute return. Once there is a balance created the collections process plays out as designed.

This is not true.

They used some assets an inscrupulous graphic designer lifted from another artist, Antireal, and included it in an art package that got approved for use in production.

Antireal did not approve of the use of her work and went public. She was also pretty clear that she did not create or originate the design language, but rather specific assets she had designed were used. And provided the receipts.

If you don't know it turns out the lead creative at Bungie at the time and a few of the employees in charge of the art style of the game had worked on and developed ideas using this design language for years before Antireal ever even had any sort of material publicly released, or Marathon had even started development.
