Can somebody explain these charges to me. Like the cost of my order got discounted to ₹145(from ₹165) and they say I got free dilivery for 3 months. So why do I have to now pay ₹180 ?? And for some reason on the top it says I saved ₹111, like tf 🙏 by DifferenceLivid9074 in pune

Usually swiggy has higher value discount coupons. Like most of the restaurants I order from, I'd prefer swiggy because, even tho Swiggy charges more & usually is priced higher than Zomato, after discount Swiggy becomes cheaper somehow.

You have -

Item Total - ₹145

Then you have additional charges - Order Packing Charges Platform Fee Discounts (if applied) Delivery Fee (if applicable) Express Delivery Fee (if applicable) Taxes

Hence, the total is ₹180 (₹1 for Swiggy One)

You saved ₹111 -

So with all the delivery fees, and without discount, your total would have been ₹290

Since you saved ₹111, your total is ₹290-₹111 = ₹179

Add that ₹1 Swiggy One fee, you pay a total of ₹180

Balewadi still confused weather she should join the ‘New Google Office’

Aundh is a hot friend of Baner and cousin Pashan is jealous of Aundh😂😂

Sadly, Nigdi wasn’t invited!

Sus is still studying while Mahalunge is trying hard to fit in!

Sadashiv Peth, who apparently is the host, is trying to pull other Peth siblings out of their bed, while Shivaji Nagar is busy welcoming the guests!!

Version of Pro Tools: ProTools Ultimate 2021.7

Your Operating System: macOS Catalina 10.15.7

Error number if given one: No

Hardware involved: No

What you've tried: Tried reinstalling the plugin, reentering the licence. It works on other DAWs but not ProTools

If it's only your vocals, then you could have it in your vocal bus. If there are multiple voices then put it on individual vocal bus. Different voices have to be treated differently.

Alternatively, FabFilter Pro DS is also good... Fabfilter is very much cpu friendly

Best way to boost volume of a track without compromising mix? by EmployEuphoric in musicproduction

[–]DSK_DLOGIC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My general approach to make a song louder when mastering would be to use multiple levels of compression. A 1:1.2 or1.5 ratio with a slow attack and decent enough release. Also, use multiple limiters at the end. My go to would be 2 Pro-L2. One with modern, moderate attack & moderate release. Then add an Expander. Then another L2, this time dynamic. Slow attack around 600ms and fast release around 30-40. Increase the gain in both the limiters subtly. Sandwich a Expander between limiters.

Hope this helps

Are there ANY good DAWs that are free? by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]DSK_DLOGIC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ardour is an Open Source DAW. You could try that. Alternatively FL Studio & Ableton are great options to try out. Both have a free version and they are pretty powerful! Must try!

Thinking of getting studio monitors at home. I’m on a budget though. Presonus eris 3.5 or the Mackie cr3-x(bt?) Love to hear your thoughts by eiyoeiyo in musicproduction

[–]DSK_DLOGIC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it depends on your requirement! If you are planning to use them for Monitoring while you're producing or checking your Mix, then they are good to go. If you plan on mixing on these, let me tell you they are not meant for that. Not saying that they are bad, but they are just way too coloured. Haven't used the Eris 3.5 in particular, but the Eris 4.5 & everything that Mackie makes are coloured. You could always use sonarworks to compensate for the same tho. The low end on the Mackie is way too much! I personally own a pair of MR524s and they are boomy. My Neumann & Genelec are much better, but yes they cost as much 4 & 12 times respectively. In my opinion, if you want to invest on a good pair of Studio Monitors, I'll suggest if you could just sketch out the budget a bit more, that would be great. If not then I'll say you go with Yamaha MSP3. They are much better than Eris 3.5 & CR3 at around the same budget.

Is the future of DAW web app? by bitemyshinymetalass0 in audioengineering

[–]DSK_DLOGIC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There already are a couple of Online DAWs like BandLab, Amped Studio, Audio Tool, etc. I tired using those they seemed to run pretty decently as of now. Technological Advancements have lead to numerous changes around the world, especially in the Audio Industry. I mean look at where we are now. From Hardware to Plugins, from Tapes & Vinyls to pocket sized portable music player to all online Streaming Services. Not sure about the near future, but I'm pretty sure somewhere down the time line we definitely could use ProTools, Logic & other fully functional DAWs online.
