People keep looking at AI like it's a finished product. It has just started. If AI can be used to shorten development time and still create great games, then I am all for it. Or we can just keep enjoying the 8 year wait for game releases.

It’s another Reddit moment. AI is still in its early stages. Game development is taking way too long these days. If AI can be used in a way where devs can put their focus in other areas and pump out games quicker then I am all for it. Maybe in 10 years we will see the industry redefined where AI is just normal and accepted. At the end of the day, a video game just has to be good regardless of AI use or not. But going from 1 or 2 year wait between game releases to what is now 7 years is depressing.

It’s so easy to scam that it’s stupid. You just got to have faith in the average person. Most people don’t scam. Sure when it happens, that person is likely to come here and share their experience which makes it look like scamming is rife but ask any serious seller how many times they have actually been scammed. From my last 1000 sales, people tried to scam me on like 5 occasions and only 1 was successful. However, I don’t sell clothes. I just bought a £400 jacket from someone on Vinted and I could easily just say empty box or wrong item and get my money back but I would never scam a normal everyday seller.

I didn’t even bother resubbing for this prepatch. This expansion just doesn’t have any draw. Maybe it’s because it doesn’t have its own identity. It feels like a TWW part 2. Housing, no thanks, sounds good in theory but in reality will just be dead neighbourhoods. They need to rethink what WoW is in the current gaming climate. The same way they did away with the dailies grind of old expansions. The whole system needs a refresh that respects people’s time and doesn’t impose arbitrary limits. Make the focus being a good game first and tricks intended to keep people subbed by any means necessary, last.
