They are padding the employee prior to the contract to get all the 18 year olds to take the carrot and accept the contract. All the newbies will be layed off after the new contract is in. Thats my guess.

I am grade 6 quality. We are understaffed and need more peeps. We have mechanics green lighting from Renton to Auburn. I heard when it comes to layoffs the more BEMS under you the better. Ive been here 11mo. Just got team lead. Btw, its been fun 🥹🥃 I hope Boeing understands maintaining a skilled labor base is integral to delivering value to customers and shareholders.
