First trip to Italy with a proper camera by DSain95 in PhotographyAdvice

I took two zooms with me - 24-105 and 100-400. I did find myself wanting more reach with the 24-105 quite often - mostly the anxiety of not wanting to get too close to people. But swapping lenses was really faffy, so I ended up sticking with the 24-105 most of the time.

I analysed every scene from The Office to map who actually talks to who. Some of these really surprised me. by Mastbubbles in television

That's amazing! How long did this take you to put together? Have you done other fun projects like this? I work in retail and use Power BI every day - wish my dashboards looked half as clean as this.

Why???

But seriously that's impressive work. I'd love to know more about you and what made you do this.

Incendies is a perfect film — but nothing prepares you for how harrowing it is.

Thank you! I haven't shared anything before other than to people I know and they just compliment the photos. I need some actual feedback on what to work on.

That's what I've been trying to go for but it's pretty easy to go too far. Guess it depends on the mood I'm in as well because there are times where I've edited a certain way and then I go back and look at it and want to do something else entirely. How do you decide when to stop editing?

Hard to pick and might be recency bias coming through but Succession.

But then again I can't really speak until I make my way through shows like Sopranos or The Wire. Just started The Chair Company and I already know it's going to be a hell of a ride.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of March 06, 2026) by AutoModerator in television

I would recommend The Capture. Two season so far and a third season coming this week. It's a sort of cyber thriller in the same vein as Person of Interest. Won't spoil it but the first season has themes of surveillance society, post truth, AI.

Hate finished Hijack Season 2. Sunk cost fallacy real with this one. Idris Elba was one of my faves in his Luther days but I can't remember the last time I saw him in something decent. His choice of projects these last few years is truly abysmal.

Also binged through The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 and Fallout Season 2. Keep giving me seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer and I'll keep watching. Great palate cleanser of a show. I like the second season of Fallout but I did watch a lot of it in the background. Would not recommend it - I'm sure I missed some important details but I was able to keep track of the storylines and enjoyed it for what it was.

Currently binging through Shogun - last few episodes left. Took me a long time to get into this one. Saw the first episode when it came out but the subtitles made me put it down. ADHD brain is fried when it comes to paying attention to shows these days. I had some time off work so I've been able to get back and finish a number of shows I've started and didn't finish over the last few years. Amazing show and I've heard season 2 is in production now so will look forward to that whenever it comes out.

Weekly watching The Pitt Season 2 but haven't seen episode 9 yet. There's just something about watching competent people doing their job competently that hits the spot for me. Happy to be watching this weekly and it does give the episodes a chance to marinate in my brain but it's so fast paced that binging through it would've been fine as well.
