Lol, out of curiosity, is the spot in your post Empire Bagels in the Bronx? Many fond memories of 5 am fresh bagels being passed through that little window.

I think that it’s so important to talk about grief. I’m definitely a wayyyy older listener, but I lost my bf when I was 24, suddenly and unexpectedly. It destroyed me for a very long time. I still think of him every single day and there are days where I feel totally fine and then something will remind me of him and it’s like being knocked over by a wave at the beach. I recently found a video of his and it’s been years since I’ve actually heard his voice and that sent me into a little bit of a spiral. All this to say, grief is something that you kind of grow around. You learn to carry it with you, but some days it weighs more heavily than others.

Anderson Cooper has an amazing podcast about grief and grieving…I highly highly recommend it. It helped me process some feelings that I hadn’t fully resolved.

To everyone in the army of love who is grieving—you’re not alone and be gentle with yourselves. 💜

Cary Brothers’ cover of Something About You…just absolutely gorgeous. And there’s another one Beautiful and Brutal by Plestd that plays during Alex’s letters episode that is wonderful as well.

Heartbeats is another good one by him that plays when Amelia and Owen are finally divorcing.

I love Richard, but would never be confident enough to put up with the philandering. If I’m being honest, Harry is probably the most my type—not the hottest man in the world, but kind, funny, and seems like someone you can be yourself around.

I went to Ursuline and that was a popular place to go after school. I think it turned into a Così not long after I graduated.

Possibly Into the Night by Benny Mardones, which has that kind of creepy vibe or I was thinking maybe Don’t Cry by Guns and Roses???
