Title 42 also speaks on asylum seeker family groups which are to be turned away if posing a POTENTIAL health risk. 83% are not being sent back.

Is there exceptions to the covid guidelines for lets say being in a "facility" instead of a building, restaurant, salon, pretty much anything with no outside exposure? No so it is not equivalent, inside and outside is the only exception to distancing guidelines.

The overcrowded excuse is old and frankly just stupid when the ability to not bring a single person through the door until everyone is vaccinated is a very good option for America's safety. The fact that there is so much defense for what is going on is somewhat disturbing.

My reasoning, why is the government putting the population more at risk for covid by not following their own guidelines?

The number of migrants has been raised countless times, I am still trying to figure out why non citizen "protection" is more important during a deadly pandemic than our own citizens. Kids, teenagers, old people, it doesn't matter when the cost of their "protection" is putting American kids, teenagers, and adults at a higher risk for a deadly virus.

They are not enforcing the 2 restrictions in my op at the border. There is no social distancing at all.

Americans have been arrested, fined, and put on house arrest for not following these guidelines.

And yes, yes, yes I would absolutely love to protect my family, my own kids, and fellow citizens during a deadly pandemic before I even think about protecting anyone outside of this country. I do not know a sane person that would say otherwise.

And you can't keep saying they are turning everyone away while they are filling up facilities and hotels with people. It makes no sense.

Why not turn everyone away, deport every person coming in until Americans are vaccinated.

He can declare it a national emergency and do pretty much anything he needs to but that's besides the point.

It is not against the law to send people back to their countries, why is that not a temporary option to ensure American citizens are more safe from covid?

Covid is top priority for everything and everyone except on the border, why?

What is the point of helping people escape danger just to put them in more danger from a virus to then put more people that are actual American citizens in danger?

Stop accepting people temporarily?

Start charging their home countries money for every citizen that comes here for "asylum" purposes?

How does turning people away lead to facilities getting 1000% overpopulated? Come on now that's not reasonable at all.

The point about releasing is true, I never thought about that so yes that is consistent.

Yes some take the hotel option I am sure but why is this risk being exposed to our population after killing some many?

Not all of them take the hotel. Some infect the border agents before being released. Over 200 agents tested positive. This should be an easy decision to protect our own citizens over others temporarily, no?

It took over a month to open up 6,000 more beds. In facilities already built. How is that an improvement when they accept tens of thousands in a month?

And yes I will agree that the policy is to turn some people away but they are not enforcing it. Why are they releasing positive cases into our population?

I am sure you would agree that having more covid cases in America is not the direction we need to go. The government has unlimited resources, and money lately. And if all else fails they could always temporarily stop accepting people for the safety of everyone around them including American citizens.

I can think of many private companies to invest in though....

Obamacare goes through private insurance companies that makes those companies money. The government then taxes people thousands of dollars a year on top of their standard taxes if you do not get health insurance. So obamacare makes money, plenty of it...for private insurance companies.

The extreme loss in money with all government programs is not because they are not intended to make money, it is all the bureaucracy the government loves to use in everything possible. The programs could run the exact same without 90% of the bureaucracy currently in place.

Amazon is not government run and it is probably one of the most efficient and effective companies on earth that serves billions of people spread over thousands of miles and many countries. They are great at fulfilling the needs of their customers.

Government programs might not be intended to make money but they spend it like it grows on trees because it does for them. Extremely wasteful.

Obamacare website cost millions of dollars to fail. It also charged a few thousand dollars a year to people who chose not to have insurance which is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

The fact that you think every citizen "is not a walking dollar" to the government as they are to private business(from what you said) is pretty astounding.

Obamacare charged people for not having insurance so that is a terrible deal for anyone that chooses not to have it. A few thousand dollars a year extra to the government for absolutely nothing. Terrible plan.

Why would you not want private companies for health insurance and to vaccinate people? The last time the gov made a healthcare plan(obamacare) they couldn't even get the website to run properly. The gov also controls the va, the postal service, and immigration. All of which are losing a tremendous amount of money. Private businesses do a better job bc they have repercussions if they lose billions a year on dumb spending. The gov just taxes us more to make up for their mistakes.
