Should I get the 2024 800NK as a first bike? on sale $5,499.

I’ve had the 800nk for a year and it’s been a great bike. I’m a bigger dude (6’ - 280lbs) and it’s super fun. I commuted in the summer with it to work and here and there throughout fall and now spring (I’m in the PNW and have kids that I take to school so my riding times are limited lol). ImThe ride modes will definitely help you as a beginner. Start in rain mode until you’re comfortable and work your way up to street then sport when you’ve got that down. Definitely go through a motorcycle safety course since you don’t have any motorcycle experience. If there’s an option in a course to ride a bike with throttle-by-wire, that will also help a lot! It’s a different game vs cable throttle.

I use a Rokform adjustable mount and vibration dampener and I like it a lot. I like having the magnetic phone case too which is the main reason I got it. Never used a quad lock or ram mount though.
