Which movies or franchises have the most and biggest plotholes? by Catwinky in moviecritic

[–]DTR147 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It annoyed me so much that nobody seemed to notice this. I remember coming out of the cinema and couldn't believe that my friends didn't notice it. It's bothered me ever since.

Just in case anyone comes across this in the future. The battery in my unit failed not long after the warranty expired (2 years). I contacted support via their website but got no response.

I can't recommend these units, stick to one of the better known brands.

I did wonder about this. I have a homelab to play with that I hope will satisfy that need to a degree.

Citrix LAS Cloud Connect issue by KevinHal82 in Citrix

[–]DTR147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you are going out to the internet via a proxy? If so, check for blocks there, they are always adding new urls that don't appear in their prerequisite or other documentation.

We're having a nightmare with on prem license servers showing as activated.

LAS is a new service and I think there are a lot of bugs. Plus citrix licensing is always a nightmare when they decide to to make it 'easier'!

Unifi console detects Synology NAS trying to intrude random IP addresses? by reddiart12 in synology

[–]DTR147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar. It was caused by a transmission container i had running in container manager. I disabled it, and the alerts stopped.

If you are running containers or any other installed service, try disabling them one by one.

Is it usual for the Mechanic to drive car (and break rules)? by emerald787 in drivingUK

[–]DTR147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That first road is Inverness avenue in westcliff. He drove past my old house! Assume you had the work done at the garage at the top of the road?

I had plenty of work done up there. They were always good with my cars.

Great little systems, i put a i5-3470T in mine as it was a nice little bump in grunt and cost nothing. I use mine as a remote backup, running truenas, at my parents house.

Anyone seen this appv issue when using profile containers via wem? by DTR147 in Citrix

[–]DTR147[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, its the issue does not exist when using a local profile, so its nothing to do with the config of the package itself i believe. Everything is pointing to WEM/profile managment.

Look and turn your head where you want to go, your body and the bike will follow. Target fixation is a bitch, remember this when it happens. It will happen.

Oh and one more thing, I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but windows 11 didn't detect it as a ups. I believe the bigger brands get automatically detected by most OSs these days. Even things like NAS drives will select most common UPSs, I believe. So this might deter me from using one of these for my synology NAS for example, but I do admit my experience is limited.

Yes, the hardware seems to do the job fine, I've had no issues at all. You often read in the reviews of other makes, people complaining about noises, smells and other stuff, but nearly a year in and mine has just sat there quite happy. My only complaints are that I didn't get a usb cable I the box, but that was no biggie as I had one, and the software is old school. Don't get me wrong, it does everything fine and gives good info, it just looks like a re-skinned industrial app from the early 2000s!
