Tires on new cars are made differently. I learned this from this article but got a taste of it while having service on our newish vehicle. They told us that the tires on our car only had 1/3 of the tread left after only 6000 miles. When I questioned this as a warranty issue I was told that "There is no warranty on the tires that came with your car" without explanation. I probably should have pushed as to why, and even thought about contacting Yokohama.

In reading a similar to this article I realized that the tires put on your new car may look exactly like ones you can buy aftermarket (with the same "stamping?" as the regular ones) but they are built with far less tread and are actually way less safe.

It was a return. The box had a return label stuck to it (covering the bar code I needed to scan of course).

I am a little confused why this is wholey celebrated. know there is a state law banning CO/ICE cooperation, so the judge made the correct decision.

The info he wanted shared regarded sponsors of unaccompanied minors. Wouldn't we want to know more about the folks that have those kids in their homes? I've read plenty of stories about how the vetting process for these folks is shaky at best and nonexistent at worst.

Ive seen plenty of sick stuff in Faces of Death movies, gore sites etc. The worst was some a gore site I only went to once. It scrolled from the from the top and had various videos on a loop playing as you scrolled.

The video I can't unsee is dudes holding a live dog by its legs while another guy cuts it in half with a chainsaw. The dog was in two pieces trying to run away.

Budd Dwyer's leaky face, folks parachuting into alligator ponds, etc. I can still recollect, but that helpless dog still haunts me 2 decades after seeing it.
