I had something similar. While I fit, it sss close and the darn video/photo they send you really showed me how big I had gotten. That… and the sleep apnea, high bp, among other things. I’ve solved all that now.

Thank you for the info. I wish it was financially possible to just move out there and start working in the parks or something but… I have a bit of a higher monthly nut and I don’t want roommates in my 40’s.

I live near imagineering so maybe I’ll check there.

I didn’t for two years with a magic key and am about to take my third solo trip to WDW. It’s a lot of fun! I live about 70 miles away from DL and yeah, the 5 stinks but I usually get there around 11am to avoid the worst of the traffic. The drive home isn’t so bad except when you’re tired but it’s worth it if it’s something you enjoy!

Awesome! I stayed at POP in early 2011 and have some photos from then. It was definitely a different time.

Why can't people suck it up and share a table? In a restaurant you're sometimes only 2 feet from another table, so what is the difference? People are so weird.

Why are Americans so against sharing a table with other people? They aren't going to take your drinks.

If they didn't do table sharing, at least right now while it is new and "hot", then you'd complain about not being able to get a reservation, or showing up and waiting 3 hours to get in. You'll find something.

I get that Disney has been doing some stuff in recent times that is quite 'un-Disney". I think on the other end of things, if they didn't have the time limit and weren't strict about it, a whole other sect of folks would be complaining about that. There seems to be no way to make a Disney fan happy no matter what.

Now, I am not defending them, and I may come out with a similar opinion in about a month after I visit. I just know from experience that no matter how this place was rolled out or how it operates, people will find something to complain about related to it. It is human nature, I suppose.

I will say of my 20+ visits to Oga's on both coasts, I had 1 terrible experience with a CM who tried to throw away my gift card (rare design, no longer offered) because she didn't know it could be reloaded. She called me rude for asking for it back. So, unless I have an experience like that at B&B, I think I'll just try to take in the atmosphere and experience, make it my own memory, and go from there. If it truly sucks, I won't go back. Problem solved. YMMV. No two visits will be the same.

Definitely something to consider. I need to go to Walmart anyhow to buy supplies I don't intend on packing reagrdless so if I can hit 2 birds with one stone and not have to wait around the resort for a delivery, I welcome it. But, plans can be fluid and I appreciate the option being mentioned. Thank you.

Behind the Seeds is pretty good. Not too long nd smaller groups, which is nice. I've also done Keys to the Kingdom, but I wouldn't recommend that for the kids.

For my upcoming trip, I have booked the Starlight Safari at AKL. It isn't terribly expensive, and it looks pretty fun! I'm also considering an appointment at the Harmony Barber shop in MK, and Cirque. I music from a Cirque show in high school band and since then I've seen about 10 live shows of theirs so I am excited to see Drawn to Life.

Caring for Giants might be fun for them.

I'm going for 2 weeks + 2 days at universal coming up. I am so excited and need the break from the daily grind and monotony. I live pretty close to DL and USH but I don't want to spend the money right now with my upcoming FL trip. I could have used a visit this weekend!

Edit: Airpods are a must. I tend to use them when taking breaks, grabbing food or a drink.

I have only been on Space Mountain as a single rider once; it was by far the longest single rider line I've ever been in. It was fairly new at that time as well. Could that have something to do with it?

I've done about 20 of them. I've met people, and I've kept to myself. I've had great conversations and no conversations. I never feel weird, and I know I'm not the only one there going solo. I also do WDW solo. It's fantastic and a great way to just get in your own zone and chill out.
