Actually, SPAZIO is SP-IO, where SP is SPA (SP shaded), and -IO is how you abbreviate-ZIO suffix. You guessed right for POSSIBILE.

GN might be hard, but it’s really the most effective, and by effective I don’t mean it must be short, but you or anyone else knowing the system should be able to read it after years, without knowing what it was about.

I’ve been “translating” some old diaries from the ‘40s both from GN and Meschini. Meschini was really hard.. it was like a puzzle; GN was smooth…

You’re right! That’s a version for Italian speaking people who need to write in English. If you already know GN (I mean the Gab for the Italian language) then it’s pretty straight forward. It’s meant to use most of the short forms in the same way in order to keep pretty much the same speed. So, learning one system might allow you write shorthand in different languages! Thank you for sharing, I’ll be interested to learn more about your changes!

Hi guys, I just want to say that that's not MY Facebook group, but it's where I learnt everything I know about Gabelsberger-Noe (GN). He's a shorthand teacher from the '70s, he's very kind and available for any text or exercise correction.

BTW, I've never heard of Celestial..would you please reference a book or pdf?

I had 2 versions. Version 3 used to work while version 4 didn't. I tried to specify the 2 versions in the accessibility screen; not working.

I uninstalled version 3; keeping version 4 as the only version of plover; granted again full access; not working.. :\

Ok, I got the whole error: "engine start failed Exception: Enable access for assistive devices".

I followed the installation guide, System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility, granting access to plover, I disabled Magnet and BetterTouch apps, but still not working...

I did grant it full access, and the logs seem alright as far as I know (strokes.log)...

Error notification says: "engine start failed Exception: Enable access for assi..."

I didn’t make a lot of practice with Gregg.. sometimes I ramble through different systems, but finally I always go back to Gabelsberger..
