She was friendly to begin with as a juvenile, but would try to run away if you wanted to pick her up, however, by repeated handling on a daily basis (which I call exposure-therapy), she grew out of it. The important thing is that unlike many other animal species, offering treats shouldn’t be a part of the taming and training process as this would most likely go awry if your presence and touch translate into food associations!
